ESX Announces Powerful, New Database Reporting Capability

Browser-Based Reporting Explodes Old Limitations of Standard Report Formats

HOUSTON (June 30, 2009) – ESX Inc. announced release of a new capability for its Association Catalyst and Education Catalyst clients: a self-service database reporting platform based on software by Izenda.

This is the first AJAX-enabled, browser-based reporting program on the market, which empowers business managers to create ad hoc report formats “on the fly,” without requiring extensive database training and without waiting for an IT database programmer to design a new report format. “Organization managers can now slice and dice your data any way you want, and mine your membership data to better serve them,” said Les Schlain, president for ESX Inc.

According to Izenda, this answers the call for “database democracy.” Izenda emphasizes that the browser-based visual reporting goes beyond viewing reports online – Izenda’s AJAX designer environment means non-technical users are actually designing and customizing reports, right in the browser window.

“Izenda visual reporting eliminates a typical problem with member database management – limitations on report formats and new programming costs every time you want to see your data in a different way,” said Sebastian Stavar, chief technology officer for ESX, Inc. “Our first clients to implement Izenda express relief!”

ESX clients who implement Izenda Reports will be in good company. Other organizations now using Izenda reports include Volvo Automobiles, Verizon Wireless, Gateway Computers and the U.S. Navy.
