The Assisted Living Federation of America (ALFA) Launches New, Redesigned Website Powered By the ESX Association Catalyst

The Assisted Living Federation of America (ALFA) launched its all-new and redesigned website (www.alfa.org) on April 3, for use by its federation members as well as the general consumer public.

Providing residential assistance to seniors is a growing need in the U.S. and it affects a growing marketplace of consumers. ALFA supports informed choice and believes that educating consumers on the alternatives and opportunities of elder care is the best assurance for a higher quality of life.

With more than 500 senior living facility members nationwide, ALFA serves as the voice for senior living and advocates on behalf of its members and the senior community. ALFA’s member-driven programs required a robust system to satisfy the communication needs of many different user groups. The Association Catalyst platform provided ALFA members with permission-based access to a wide range of online resources and also to their own membership profile, simplifying member renewals and alleviating the need to continually re-enter the same data. Once logged in, ALFA members can continue seamlessly to their online community without a separate sign-in.

“Association Catalyst was enhanced with new functionality to meet ALFA’s extensive requirements for new web technology,” said Les Schlain, president of ESX. “The addition of several new features will benefit all our clients,” concluded Schlain.

The ALFA website includes a stylish online magazine for assisted living executives; RSS Feed Creation for easy subscription to news and information; and an online store. The ALFA storefront offers online content, products and sponsorships to be purchased, and it also provides a purchase history accessible to each member for products, sponsorships and events.
